Golden Grounds Coffee is a family built, owned, and operated coffee house designed for the Golden community.  Bill & Diane Nickell have been a part of the Golden community for over twenty years and wanted to give the east side of Golden an affordable and easily accessible place to relax, cruise the free wireless internet and enjoy gourmet locally roasted coffee.

Diane, mother of four,  teaches choir at Bell middle school and is a piano accompanist at Golden High School. She is also very involved at her local church, teaching a Sunday School class and leading a ladies ensemble.

Bill, a building contractor by trade, wanted to do his part to keep Golden beautiful.  Bill has personally transformed a community eyesore into a beautiful contemporary coffee house that is dedicated to quality espresso for the best prices in town.  Bill is also the coach of a Golden little league baseball team and plays guitar on a worship team every Sunday morning at his local church.
